Shield
Buff and light blue are the colors traditionally associated with the Quartermaster Corps. Gold is emblematic of excellence and high achievement. Black alludes to petroleum, the major logistics support mission of the organization. The four black shapes, located on the four major geographical directions, represent units of supply inventory and highlight the distribution of petroleum wherever needed by our soldiers. The eagle, symbol of our nation, is adapted from the Quartermaster branch insignia. The shield represents defense and protection, which gives emphasis to the unit's motto. The sword and key from the Quartermaster branch insignia reflect military preparedness and professional logistics support and control.
